[[yes]]
[[no]]Let’s start here. With a video, I received the other day.
Well, we can start sooner actually.
I'm a humble horror blogger. My job mostly includes investigations of the weird and creepy, mostly lost media. I hate to call it "professional" investigations, but with the platform I have it sort of feels that way. But, it's rewarding in it's own way. Of course, that brings me here.

(text-colour:magenta)+(background:black)[Good morning, I hope you're doing well. I was wondering if ypu'd be willing to look into this. I came upon this video on accident, and it seemed right up your alley. Its a pretty creepy video. I didn't know what it meant really? So it'd be great if you could look into it. I have the link to the video here, so no need to go searching for it.]

[[more information needed]]Kettleton is my hometown. It’s a little boonies town in the middle of nowhere where I lived up until I turned seven. My parents got better jobs and were able to move to a larger town. I actually don’t remember all that much of it, but I remember it was quaint. Not like a bad small town, but the type you’d see in a TV show. Where everyone knew each other, what was going on at all time, etc.
A large part of my memory was the random public access channel that was there. See, cable wasn’t as common there due to the lack of anyone willing to have people come all the way out there to set it up, but we did have your usual standard channels. Your ABC, PBS, stuff like that. But we also had our local public access channel, KBS. It was like PBS, the mornings and afternoons had shows for kids and the evenings and nights had local news and weather. The things kids would find boring.
Not everyone in town used the channel, though. I personally preferred PBS to its bootleg-y cousin.
A patron told me today that they went back and watched some tapes that they had from that town, and mentioned how...strange they were. Which was odd to me too. So, since they literally fund my livelihood I feel kinda obligated to check it out.

This leads us here. The video sent to me brought me to a video on Youtube. Its title is simply (text-colour:green)[(set: $info to "\"Weather Report\"")]. The video was privated, that was the first thing that stood out. The second was that the video was a few years old, and had around 10 views. There wasn't a description, and the channal that uploaded the video was simply the name of my patron. I can assume they had this video for some time and just kept it, but I can't be too sure.
[[Watch Weather Report]]
[[more information needed]](enchant:?page,(text-colour:red))The video begins with a simple chime, similar to that of a bell. An announcer's voice is heard saying "Coming up is your local weather. Followed by Mr. Hopps Corner. Only on KBS. Your go to public acess broadcasting." A logo appears across the screen, before it settled to the bottom righthand corner.
The weather report begins, lacking a reporter. Its a simple slide showing the next four days, dating from November 4th to 8th. The quality is that of a typical VHS tape from the early 2000s, though it's impossible to get an exact date. On the 4th it shows a forecast of a sunny day, with mid-high tempetures. The next day shows a slightly cloudy day, and the tempeture is still reletively warm. The next shows a cloudy day, which much colder weather. There is a small interface glitch, and there is a sound of loud static
The final day is blacked out, with something almost scribbled over it. The static sound is loud. The graphical glitches then fill the whole screen, with only the logo remaining in the corner.
The video cuts off.

[[Investigate the scene further]]
(set: $info to 1)(text-colour:red)[The video was uploaded on July 6th, 20XX. A few years prior to the current date. The uploader is a Patron, the one who sent you the video. It is unlisted with 10 views. No likes or dislikes or comments. The discription is "An old VHS, I don't want to lose this" ](set: $basic to 1)
[[CLick off]] off]]I...what was that?
Video glitches happen all the time. Especially with old videos.
I mean, yeah. That was weird. That was very weird. Things can be weird with old videos, old videos from a town from the middle of nowhere. But...I get why they would want me to look over this. If anything it proves my patron right in the fact that this is worth looking into.
Honestly my memories of the station are vague, but I certainly don't remember anything like that appearing on the screen. Maybe the video was faked?
Well, regardless, this is a good jumping off point for this investigation. The big question is where to go from here?
